About Autism with DJ

In March 2022, Autism with DJ was created with the goal of raising awareness and providing support to families affected by autism. Sparkle, a dedicated wife and mother, founded the project after her son, De'Unte Jr. ("DJ"), was diagnosed with autism and a developmental language disorder in January 2021.

Sparkle's unyielding commitment to her son and her quest for a comprehensive understanding of autism motivated her to leverage her expertise and aid other families confronting comparable struggles. Autism with DJ endeavors to provide support to families while breaking down the stigmatization of autism. By fostering a community for parents to share their experiences, obtain information, and connect with one another, this effort has become a model for families raising children with special needs.
